About Us

Shubh Sandesh Adhyayan is a trans-denominational faith ministry that embraces the Lausanne Covenant. We believe that while prayer, healing also, and miracles can lead a person to Christ, it is the study of God’s Word and discipleship that lay the foundation for a lifelong relationship with Him. However, many regional languages lack adequate Christian resources beyond the Bible. India, for example, has widely spoken Hindi, yet there remains a significant lack of theological and biblical literature in the language. Shubh Sandesh Adhyayan seeks to address this need by producing Christian literature in regional languages, beginning with Hindi.

Why We Do What We do?

  • Churches are growing in vitality and numerically, but most pastors and lay leaders are untrained.
  • In 1910, the Edinburgh Conference highlighted the need for Christian literature in regional languages, but even after a century, this need remains largely unmet.
  • Bibles are available in all 22 major languages of India, but supportive Christian literature remains lacking in mother tongues.
  • Proper training will make the Church stronger in faith, rooted in Scripture, skilful in ministry, bolder in evangelism, and missional in discipleship.

Dr. P.T. Subrahmanyan came to faith in Christ as a teenager, despite being raised in a traditional priestly Brahmin family. His wholehearted commitment to full-time Christian service led him to pursue theological education and active involvement in grassroots ministry. He has years of hands-on experience both in local churches and as a theological educator in numerous seminaries across India. His extensive travels in North India have deepened his conviction about the urgent need for Christian literature in regional languages. This burden gave birth to the vision of Shubh Sandesh Adhyayan.
